Learning for Life “Emotionally Intelligent Leadership"

The seminar took place at ALBA facilities on Saturday, November 13th, 2004and it was conducted by Olga Epitropaki, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management, Academic Director of the ALBA MSc in Strategic Human Resources Management Program. 

Seminar Objectives:
The seminar will focus on emotional intelligence competencies such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management that are vital for effective leadership. We will identify styles of emotionally intelligent leaders and we will further explore the notion of resonant leadershipand point out some key steps for its development.

Main objectives of this seminar are:

  • To help you understand key emotional intelligence competencies (such as self-awareness, empathy and communication) that is crucial for effective leadership.
  • To familiarize you with some of the styles of emotionally intelligent leadership.
  • To introduce you to the concept of resonant leadership and the self-development and ongoing learning process it requires.
